FIGHTING FOR A WAUNAKEE FOR ALL OF US
A resident of Waunakee since 2013, I have served on the village's housing task force, as well as been a regular advocate for citizen causes to the village board and various committees. I've promoted causes for equity, such as challenging the village's hiring practices, recognition of LGBTQ+ Pride month, and pushing for overall awareness. I also continue to work with the village and local non-profit organizations on recognizing housing diversity needs while balancing it against excessive growth in the village. I am against the usage of Tax Incremental Financing (TIFs), in most cases, as they almost always result in tax increases to residents from other sources. I strongly believe that the village has a duty to represent all of its citizens, and not just those with the means and connections to village hall.
I am originally from Frederick, MD. I have a wife, four year old daughter, and three too many cats. In my free time I enjoy reading, biking, and exploring the Wisconsin countryside with my family. He/him.
